“Mann Ki Baat” Amid Coranavirus Crisis

PM NARENDRA MODI ON PANDEMIC CORONAVIRUS
Amid the outbreak of pandemic Coronavirus or COVID-19 the Prime minister announced the lockdown in entire country for 21 days due to spike in number of cases. On 29 march 2020 PM addressed the audience , this was one of the first mann ki baat session after lockdown.
Modi spoke to various people including the doctors and the survivors of covid 19. The main motive behind this was to increase the morale of people . This session which was for around 40 minutes and was much appreciated and needed as well. PM Modi emphasized the importance of social distancing and he said only these preventive measures would curb corona cases and will prove to give INDIA a victory.
He appealed and requested the citizens of India that how bad he feels when he comes to know about the people who are misbehaving and not following the code of conduct during the lockdown. He specially gave salute to all the doctors and nurses and even the common people. He appreciated the endless and dedicated services of nurses. He announced that 2020 would now be celebrated as an international day for nurses and midwives. The main thing in the session was when Modi spoke to survivors of Covid 19. Ramagampa Teja was one of the first to speak to Modi. Later Modi also requested him to make a video in which he shares his whole challenging journey that would help to motivate people .
He also appreciated people who are already keeping them self quarantined even without symptoms. He added the fight against corona is unprecedented as well challenging so the decision taken during this period are difficult as well .In the end he said that we are Indians and we can fight with this deadly viral disease.Now as a good citizen of country its our foremost duty to maintain social distancing and follow the rules and instructions given by government and authorities.
