It might sound boring but doesn’t it? wouldn’t you agree that every fourth people in this world thinks being average isn’t interesting? would you believe when i say ‘Average’ is Awesome?
You must have seen the quote ‘ I am not here to be Average, I am here to be awesome‘, OK? i like that determination everyone has that, even i had that too, but can’t we be both?
“Average” the word which has been used in schools or colleges to define a students effort. being average was never pitched to the students in their high school by their teachers and counselors what was pitched is to be BEST.
Even if you read or took out any success story you’ll either find a person with excellent grades and topper, or you’ll find the person who never studied and had always got zero. Having a graduate degree with a Average salary and family, couldn’t this be a success story, because the person is happy with whatever life he is having. Their might be people who are not happy with this criteria of life but there are some ordinary who are successful in their life with this criteria.
Accepting the Average and ordinary person are so difficult in this world, like every second person will tell you to “do something”, but why should he do something that is not his cup of tea? accepting the average person wouldn’t make us apathetic. There are lots of average categories person who feel pressurized in wanted to “do something” and get successful life but why if he is happy with what he have, with average grades and average salary, he is a successful man.
In order to function properly there are million of ‘Average’ people in this world on which this society and world’s depend upon. I am from one of those Average people and i have grown up listening, ‘you are not best’, ‘you are not expert in anything’ and many more that i have probably forgot.
I am plain average person.. and that is Awesome!
however, you all should actually thank all of us Average people for living the blissful lives as Average citizens to encourage all of you to become more than Average.
