Mental wellbeing : The crucial element

(The need of strong will power and good immunity to fight against covid)

We as human beings were constantly indulged in thinking about Artha ie. Materialism or the ways how  we could gratify our wants or materialistic greeds. Did we ever realise the importance of being mentally and physically brawny?

We often overlooked the importance of being in good health, for instance talking about having a healthy or good immune system. However little we realised that the outbreak of deadly covid-19 would make us think over again about our perspective of our life in a different and a new way.

This pandemic has brought a radical variation in our lives. Amid these times we all are now caught in global crisis where we have no cure or vaccine for this deadly virus and all we can see is the surge in number of covid cases all over the globe. The name of covid within itself is so grim and frightful that even if a person has no symptom or mild symptoms , they cant bare the word ‘covid-19 positive’.

What all I witnessed is that to fight against this dreadful virus one needs to have a very strong will power. Citing an example of a person who was 26 years  and a doctor by profession  and he had difficulty in breathing which he pertained to Coronavirus. Rather than being positive he experienced so much of stress that he died and while the reason of his death was cardiac arrest as he was tested negative for covid-19.

So here comes the importance of ‘Mental Strength’. The mere thought of hat if one gets tested postive of covid frights a person. Not only this but there have been several cases of people committing suicide due to fear of the outbreak of virus and that too absolutely fit people.

No one can anticipate what will happen and when we would return back to our normal lives but being mentally stable, strong, having a good willpower, being spiritual, mediating etc can help anyone of us to curb our fear. Also one should also concentrate on immunity of oneself and of course “precautions are always better than cure”. Dont forget to pratctice the principle of social distancing, wearing masks and using sanitizers when required

Hope and patience is the need of hour !
